Who We Are

Overview

Redemption Church is an independent, Bible-based evangelical church that meets in the Mount Claremont Community Centre.  Our church mission is to grow the kingdom of God by making and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ.  We have a specific focus on teaching the bible and learning more about what it means to follow Jesus.   For more information about our Church ministry and goals, please visit our What we do page and our Getting Involved section.

How We Started

Redemption Church began with 16 Christians in 2005 as an independent church plant in Perth’s Western Suburbs, and at that time we were known as Western Suburbs Community Bible Church (WSCBC). Although meeting in the Mount Claremont community, many of our members travel from all over Perth to meet each Sunday, some of whom originally came from the eastern states of Australia to join our ministry.

Church Governance

The affairs of Redemption Church are conducted by Redemption Churches of WA Inc, a not-for-profit incorporated association. The incorporated association is governed by a constitution.  Click here to download a copy of the Redemption Church constitution.  The management of the incorporated association is undertaken by the Administration Committee, which consists of the Senior Pastor and other members of Redemption Church. This Committee meets regularly, and is responsible for all administrative affairs of the church including financial arrangements.
