Getting Involved

Just Come Along

Sadly, since the COVD-19 restrictions on public meetings you can’t just come along in person, but, you can join us online with zoomCHURCH@5, our regular weekly meeting at 5pm on SUnday afternoons.  We also meet for growth groups at 7:30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 10am on Fridays.  In addition, there is a prayer meeting at 7am on Wednesday mornings.  We’d love you to join us – so contact us for details of the Meeting ID to log in on Zoom and join us!

The best way to find out more about our Church and ministry is by coming along one Sunday and joining in with our Sunday Services at either 9 AM or 5PM.  If you have school aged children, then the “Kids Church” program runs at 5PM with dinner afterwards for the children.  Morning tea or supper is available after our services, so please stay and chat and we will be able to answer any questions you might have, especially if you are new to Perth’s Western Suburbs or are interested in becoming a Christian.   Please check out “Sundays” Page for more information about our church Services.

Growth Groups

These discipleship groups are an important part of our Church life and ministry together.  These home groups meet together in a suburb nearby such as Nedlands, Claremont and Scarborough Beach.   Normally a growth group will meet weekly during the school terms, sometimes for dinner or lunch, but always for some Bible Study or Prayer and to strategise  together about how we live life as a Christian.  We encourage one another to minister the words and teachings of Jesus to our friends and colleagues and praying for the salvation of people around us.   Smaller groups allow opportunity for more difficult questions and allow our people to become closer and pray over lifes difficulties with each other.   If you are interested in joining one of our small groups closest to you, please contact our senior minister and he will put you in touch with a group leader in your area.

One-to-One Bible Reading

Regular bible reading with one or two other fellow Christians is often a good way to learn how to understand the bible as God’s word and its message about Jesus and what that means for you.    This format also allows a private forum for tough questions, including objections to the Christian faith.  If you are interested in becoming a Christian, or would like a Christian friend to help you better understand the bible then please contact our senior minister or speak to someone at Church on Sunday, and we will be able to introduce you to a caring member of our church family who lives or works in your area.   If you have been a Christian for a while and are interested in joining Redemption Church then we would love to have you involved in this important aspect of our ministry that helps care for others as they grow in their Christian faith.

Financial Support

One of the ways in which our regular members of Redemption Church are involved with caring for each other and extending the Kingdom of God is by prayerfully providing regular, committed and generous financial support to the Church. As an independent church our ministry is fully funded by the people who regularly attend our Church and give of their time and money. We believe that the financial support of the Church and its paid ministry staff is the responsibility of our regular members and if you are visiting for the first time please do not feel like you have to contribute.

If you would like to make a once-off or regular financial donation to the ministry of Redemption Church please visit our Financial Support page for more information on how to contribute.

As a general guideline for our giving we remember in God’s word where the Apostle Paul writes of financial offerings, “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
